June and Family,

Ken and I send our sincere sympathy. We are out of town and regret we are unable to attend the funeral. Dr. Miller was a very special person in our lives. Doug's passion to teach and truly support nursing was a significant hallmark to the success that the St. Alexius Medical Center Kidney Dialysis Unit exemplifies today. We are blessed to have had Doug aa a part of our lives and the lives of patients that he touched.

Our prayers are with you always.

Dr. Miller was a long-time family friend of both my husband's and my families. Our thoughts and prayers are with June and their family.

We were saddened to hear of Dr. Doug Miller's death. For many years Dr. Miller was actively involved in the teaching of internal medicine to medical students and residents in this community, and was promoted to professor emeritus at the UND School of Medicine at the time of his retirement. Many of the practicing physicians in the state, not to mention the very many people/patients in the state who had him as their doctor or were influenced by his students and residents, owe a real debt of gratitude to this excellent physician.

I'll be out of town and not able to attend his funeral, but I, along with my wife Jean, and along with the administration and staff of the UND School of Medicine, wish to extend our sincere condolences to June Miller and family.
