Jeffrey Haas Obituary

Jeffrey Haas, 27, Bismarck, died suddenly June 30, 2003. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Bismarck, with the Rev. Thomas E. Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jeff was born July 3, 1975, in Bismarck, the son of Russ and Mary Haas. He was raised in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School. He was employed with Moritz Sport & Marine and presently employed with S & B Landscaping.

Jeff was a quiet, friendly, unassuming, sensitive, and caring young man who was always ready and willing to help others.

His real joys in life were the special moments with his son, Ryan, and the time with Stacie and Ellie. He loved wildlife and nature, hunting and fishing. Jeff touched the lives of many friends and family and will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his son, Ryan, Bismarck; his parents, Russ and Mary Haas, Bismarck; his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Amy, Hot Springs, Ark., and Greg and Deb, Lincoln; his significant other, Stacie Wiard, and her daughter, Ellie, Bismarck; his grandmother, Evelyn Haas, Prescott, Ariz.; his nephews, James and Joey Haas; step-nieces, Riah and Randi, Lincoln; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Laura Miklas and Howard Haas.
