Jesse Ray Pfaff, 63, Menoken, passed peacefully from this life on April 8, 2017, at his home after a lengthy battle with heart disease.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Harold Chin officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m.
Burial will be held at Baldwin Cemetery.
Jesse was born Oct. 20, 1953, to Ray and Donna Pfaff and grew up happily on the Judy Jo Ranch until the age of 9, when he moved to town and became a lifelong resident of Bismarck. He attended private grade school and graduated in 1971 from Bismarck High School. In 1978 he married the love of his life, Ardyth Agnew, and together they had two sons, Jesse and Raymond.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Ardyth; his sons, Jesse and Raymond; his mother, Donna; sister, Pam; brother, Randy (Rhonda); mother-in-law, MaryAnn; four sisters-in-law, Joan (Jon) Pladson, Jan (John) Lang, Trish (Paul) Hayes, and Julie (Marlin) Kapp; his precious grandchildren, Brionna, Brenden, Braelynn, and Braydon Pfaff; and his faithful companion, his dog Lilly, whom he often said he could never live without.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray; his brother and best friend, Mark; and his father-in-law, Bud Agnew.
