Jon Wruck Obituary

Jon Wruck, 48, rural Chippewa Falls, Wis., formerly of the Mott area, died Aug. 9, 2015, at his home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. MDT Saturday, Sept. 12, at Sunnyslope Cemetery, Mott, with the Rev. John Amundson officiating.

Jonathan George Wruck was born Aug. 13, 1966, at Bismarck, the son of Wayne A. and LaVonna M. (Schwartz) Wruck. He attended school at Mott Public School, North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, and North Dakota State University, Fargo. Jon farmed with his father for several years following high school and stayed on the family farm until moving to Wisconsin in 2005.

Jon was an inventor and entrepreneur, holding a patent, trademarks and copyrights for several products. Jon loved motorcycling, the outdoors and tearing things apart to see if he could make improvements.

He is survived by his significant other, Vicki Scaman, Chippewa Falls; a brother, Dwayne (Jackie) Wruck, Casselton; three nieces and nephews, the Rev. Kayla (Eric) Billings, Glyndon, Minn., Arik Wruck (Jess), Eau Claire, Wis., and Hailey Wruck, Casselton; and one grand-niece, Peyton.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents; and two infant brothers, David and Andrew.
