Justin Welder Obituary

Justin Welder

Justin "Bundy" Welder, 26, Bismarck, died Dec. 26, 2005. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with the Rev. Tom Richter officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at Parkway Funeral Service, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Friends are also welcome for visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Friday.

Justin was born Oct. 22, 1979, in Bismarck, the son of John and Sonja Welder. He grew up in Bismarck and attended Century High School.

Bundy's quest for a full life led him to move and work wherever he could be close to his friends. Bundy's great love for his parents, friends, and his brother, David, and being with them was his contentment in life. Nothing was more important to him than his friends and his brother.

Bundy was so loved for his spirit, his wonderful, great smile, and love for living. His greatest attribute in life was his ability to make friends and family laugh and smile. All that knew him will hold many fond memories.

Justin is survived by his mother, Sonja; his pops, John; and his brother, David. He is also leaving one grandfather, Ray Brousseau; his aunts, uncles, and cousins; and so many good friends.

Justin joins his grandparents, Joe and Margaret "Toots" Welder and Ernie and Melva Norling.

Bundy-

We had a lot of good times growing up. You were the only person besides my dad that I have ever picked nightcrawlers with. We had fun doing whatever. That was the best part. To the family, I am sorry for your loss of one great man.

Sonja: We have many memories to share of our boys, some good some bad. Those teenage years made us strong. I know what the loss of a child feels like. Your heart will never beat the same. You just have to remember and know you will be together again. We don't understand why and I still don't, I have just learned to cherish the time I had. My thoughts have been with you since I heard from the kids , but I have no words that are comforting. I understand no comfort. I will miss your Bundy, he was a good friend to my kids and a sweet guy to me. Always called or stopped by no matter where I lived. I will miss him too. With my deepest sympathy and love to you.

Justin Came along in my life when I needed a good friend the most. He helped me through the hardest time in my life and now that I am faced with another hard time, he remains with me. I will always remember his ability to look on the bright side of things and that is one lesson I needed to be taught so much. His strong sense of self was amazing to me. I will always Love You and Thank you for everything. I am remembering all the great times we ever spent together, which is what you used to always tell me. I Love You.

I never really knew Justin all that well, I went to school with him and graduated with him that was about all, but when I came to Bismarck for a few days, my friend and I were talking about how he passed away. I am so sorry for your loss and know that you are in my thoughts. Its so hard losing a family member and especially a friend. Even though he wasn't a close friend of mine, he was a great guy to anyone who knew him and will be terribly missed by all.

I WAS JUSTINS ART TEACHER AT CHS AND HAD MANY WILD DAYS WITH HIM IN CLASS WITH ALL HIS GIRL TROUBLES. (WE EVEN GOT IN A LITTLE ART WORK) HE WAS A VERY UNIQUE STUDENT AND HE ALWAYS MADE MY DAY WITH AT LEAST ONE OR TWO GREAT LAUGHS. I KNOW HE WAS A WELL LIKED STUDENT AND HAD A GREAT ATTITUDE ABOUT LIFE AND HIS FRIENDS. I HAD NOT SEEN HIM IN A FEW YEARS, BUT THE LAST TIME HE STOPPED OUT AT MY HOME, HE WAS REALLY HAPPY ABOUT HOW THINGS WERE GOING. BUNDY, EVEN I CALLED HIM THAT, WILL BE MISSED AND I AM SO SORRY ABOUT THE LOSS TO THE WORLD....

Sonja,John,and family,

I remember Justin with that twinkle in his eye, from grade school through high school. And that mischevious smile that always left a great impression on those he met along lifes journey. I remember your son as always polite, and also so full of energy. Bundy meant very much to Jay. I remember them riding their little "scooters"down the street, wrestling, soccer, going to the cabin at the lake.

Bundy will be missed very much by many.....

You are all in my prayers tonight.

A brief candle, both ends burning

An endless mile, a bus wheel turning

A friend to share a lonesome time

A handshake and a sip of wine

Say it loud and let it ring

That we're all part of everything

The the future, present and the past

Fly on proud bird, you're free at last.

I will always remember our good times together, the road trips, spending the summer at the cabin fishing, and the night Sonja, John, our friend Jerry and us stayed up all night playing darts and laughing until we cried. Justin loved making people laugh, his kitten (Bud), playing dice, the Monte, and most of all his family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss. He had such a big heart, and he will be greatly missed.

The news came as a major shock, I was just thinking about how I hadn't seen him around in a couple of months when I got the call. I still am in shock. I wish I could be there for the funeral, and my deepest sympathy goes to his loving mother and father. Bundy always talked so wonderful about you both. My prayers are with all of you, We had many fun times through the many years we new him. Sitting in Daryl's little bedroom listening to John Lennon..and laughing at everyone. It's hard to believe that we've lost so many wonderful friends in our circle. I'm in AZ and want so bad to be there right now. Sorry Bundy I can't be there to show my respects for our friendship but I will always have many many memories, trust me the list is long, very long. I love you Bundy, and you will be forever missed by everyone. You always gave me the best advice when I needed it. You were honest even when it was hard for me to hear, and you had a smile and sense of humor that lit up every party even if it was a party of just 4, it was hard to realize cause we were laughing and having so much fun.
