Michael "Mike" Ellefson, 89, of Hettinger, ND passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Western Horizon's Care Center in Hettinger, ND.

Mike had taken the headlights off of the hood of his 30s coupe and mounted them on the fender. When you had them on high they lit up the ditches and on low looked like a cross eyed cat. We had a good laugh. I laughed with him not at him because he was one of those people of good humor that had learned to laugh at himself. Mike, say hello to our classmates that have gone on ahead and let them know that we will be along soon. Maurice E. Cook
