DICKINSON - Mitchel R. "Mitch" Wallner, 24, Dickinson, died April 24, 2011, at his home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MDT Friday, April 29, at River of Life Church International, Dickinson, with the Rev. James Hessler officiating. Interment will be at Dickinson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. MDT today at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. MDT, with the Rev. Scott Pfaff presiding. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
Mitchel Ray Wallner was born Oct. 21, 1986, in Dickinson, the son of Rick and Cindi (Lewis) Wallner. He attended Heart River Elementary, Hagen Junior High and Dickinson High School, graduating with the Class of 2005.
Mitch worked at Dakota Diner, Olheiser Masonry and Pizza Hut Delivery. He was a very outgoing person and had a smile that would light up a room. He had the most outgoing personality and will be greatly missed by all the lives that he touched. Mitch will always be missed but never forgotten. To his son Bentley, your dad loved you more than words could ever explain.
Mitch enjoyed golfing, spending time with his son bowling, go carting, or just hanging out. He loved hanging out with his friends and cherished his family and the time spent with them.
Mitch is survived by his son, Bentley Wallner, Bismarck; his son's mother, Skye Barber, Bismarck; his parents, Rick and Cindi, Dickinson; three siblings, Eric (Amanda) Wallner, Dickinson, Ricky Wallner, Dickinson, and Missy (Mike Calhoun) Wallner, Dickinson; his niece and nephews, Daisia, Dylan and Aiden Wallner; his grandma, Phyllis Wallner, Tappen; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
