GLEN ULLIN - Mass for Norma Kobilansky, 86, Glen Ullin, will be held at 10 a.m. CDT Monday, Oct. 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glen Ullin, with the Rev. James Kilzer celebrating. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. CDT at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a rosary and vigil service being held at 5 p.m. CDT. Norma passed away Sept. 26, 2017, at Marian Manor, Glen Ullin.
Norma Kobilansky was born Aug. 28, 1931, in rural Glen Ullin, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Schelebeck) Roth. She was raised and educated in rural Glen Ullin. On Nov. 17, 1953, she married Anton Kobilansky in Glen Ullin. Following marriage, they farmed nine miles south of Glen Ullin until they moved into town in 1997. Norma was employed at Marian Manor Healthcare Center for 25 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Sacred Heart Christian Mothers and American Legion.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce (Susie) Kobilansky, Bismarck, and Curtis (Kim) Kobilansky, Glen Ullin; her daughter, Sonja (Chad) Kingsbury, Arvada, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Amber (Justin) Tank, Amy (Casey) Krush, Jason (Mary) Kobilansky, Jessica Kobilansky, Amanda (Travis) Kobilansky, and Travis and Marsadies Kingsbury; eight great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Conrad, Payton, Alivia, Easton, Hadlee, Renee and Kaymbree; her sisters, Lorraine Miller, Bismarck, Delaine Kottre, Glen Ullin, Dorothy Kroh, Glen Ullin, and Sharon Peltz, Thorton, Colo.; and brothers, Garfield (Ruth) Roth, McMinnville, Ore., Richard (Kathleen) Roth, Glen Ullin, and Roger (Louise) Roth, Bismarck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anton; a sister, Gloria Giese; and brother, Jerry Roth.
