Paula Pandolfo
Paula Dian Pandolfo was born May 7, 1934 in Rochester, NY, to Harold and Audrey Kaaz. She was raised in Denver, Colorado where she attended elementary, high school and college, then worked at a bank and an oilfield business.
She married Rodney Pandolfo, July 4, 1956 and they soon completed their family of three sons, Kirk, Tony and Daniel. Knowing they wanted to raise their family in a more rural setting, in 1961 they moved from Denver, with a stop in North Dakota, to a ranch near Northgate, Saskatchewan.
Paula made it a loving and caring home for the next 57 years. She worked side by side with Rodney on multiple ranching-related businesses, logging countless late-night hours of bookkeeping. Paula also managed the first ever Saskatchewan Livestock Feeder Association program for over 15 years. Her gentle demeanor led no one to be a stranger and she always had a cup of coffee and a meal ready to share at her table.
Paula also lovingly cared for both her grandmother and her father at the ranch until their passing. The family grew as the boys married and blessed her with five granddaughters and one grandson. Raising boys, she welcomed the female companionship and embraced passing down family traditions and recipes. She relished those moments where she could share in activities like prom grand marches, bridal and baby showers, weddings, shopping and just having nice long visits with them.
Paula passed away Oct. 15, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Paula is survived by her sons Kirk (Nancy) Pandolfo, Anthony (Mary) Pandolfo and Daniel Pandolfo. Grandson Drew (Melanie) Pandolfo, Granddaughters Andrea (Trevor) Pope, Caitlin (Chris) Howe-Pandolfo, Brooke (Mark) Watterud, Whitney (Geran) Rick, and Morgan (Dan) Aubol and 13 great-grandchildren.
A private family service is planned for later this fall.
