R. Strand Obituary
R. Terry Strand passed away on March 20, 2017, at Sanford Health in Bismarck. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Pastor Paul Schick officiating.
Robert Terry Strand was born on Dec. 17 1949, to Robert and Maxine (Merchant) Strand. Terry graduated from Eagle High School in Abercrombie in 1967. He graduated from NDSU with a Bachelors degree in Agriculture in 1971. Terry was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was also very involved in church activities for many years.
He is survived by his daughters, Missy (Ron) Kopp and Liz Strand; mother Maxine Strand; sisters Deanna (Ardell) Rice and Peggy Strand; and three grandsons, Seth and Ryan Kopp and Noah Strand.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert Strand.
