RoseMarie Gleich
RoseMarie Lodermeier Gleich passed away September 15, 2023 with her rosary in her hand, while in hospice care in Billings, MT. RoseMarie was born Nov.13, 1925 to Michael and Sophia Roeder Lodermeier in St. Joseph, MN. After receiving her nursing degree in 1948 from St. Francis School of Nursing in Breckenridge MN, she spent 40 years working as a Labor and Delivery nurse for St. Alexius Hospital.
In May of 1949, she married Fred Gleich. They were married for 64 years working and raising their family of six children: Fred, Elizabeth (Mike) Perius (Billings MT), Sharon (Jim) Barbour (San Diego), Andrew (Grand Forks), Peter (Kathy) (Hastings, MN), John (Kim) (RiverFalls, WI); 20 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. RoseMarie wintered in Billings MT before moving there full time the past five years.
In her 70 years in Bismarck, RoseMarie was a proud and active volunteer in many organizations including St. Anne's Church and Guild, St. Vincent's Care Center, St. Alexius Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters, where she was Past Regent. RoseMarie and Fred were involved in civic organizations including delivering Meals on Meals. She enjoyed her garden, flowers, sewing and making quilts, knitting and candy making. Her greatest love were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1321 Braman Ave, on Monday, August 5 at 10:00 am, with a visitation one 1/2 hour prior to the service.

Rose was a wonderful, kind and professional nurse when I was a student in the 70's. I have such sweet memories of her cheerful instructions!!!
