Terrance Hoffman Obituary

Terrance "Terry" Hoffman, 80, of Pasco, Washington, passed away at home on August 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Terry was born on April 2, 1945, in Mandan, North Dakota, to Henry and Pauline Hoffman. He married his high school sweetheart, Lucille Stein. In 1966, Terry and his family left North Dakota for Montana and Washington, where he worked in construction. In 1983, they settled in Pasco, where he worked as a union boilermaker at Hanford until his retirement in 2007.

He will be remembered as a man who worked tirelessly for his family but always made time for his "girls." His values and teachings have left a lasting impact on his loved ones.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Pauline, his brothers-in-law, Gary Rader and Darrell Freidig, and his nephew, Todd Helbling.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille; his daughters, Terri Ann (Kurt Nierenberg) and Traci Jo; his granddaughters Victoria and Sophia; and his great-grandson, Greyson.

He is also survived by his brother Kenny (Judy) Hoffman; his sisters, Susie Freidig, JoAnn (Gaylord) Fridley, and Kathy (Al) Wald; his uncle, Jim Hoffman; and numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

A private service was held for the family. All others are invited to raise a glass in his memory.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy and Atomic Home Health for their compassionate and unwavering support.
