Todd Swenson Obituary

Todd Justin Swenson passed away April 12, 2024 at his home. He was 50 years old.

Todd was born on December 6th, 1973 to Craig Swenson and Judith (Petentler) Swenson in Billings, Montana. He was the youngest of three children. Todd grew up in Billings and graduated from Billings West High School in 1992. In 1997 he married Heidi Miller and they had two children, Nolan and Kyra.

Todd built a 26 year career with AT&T as a network technical specialist. He was extremely proud of his job and was recognized for being a stalwart throughout North Dakota, always willing to share his knowledge and help others.

Todd loved the outdoors. Fishing and hunting were two of his favorite past times. One of his greatest joys was restoring Willys Jeeps, winning multiple awards for his 1962 Jeep truck. The love of working on classic cars was something he passed down to his son and who could regularly be found in the garage working with Todd.

Todd is survived by his children Nolan and Kyra Swenson, his former wife Heidi Swenson, his father Craig Swenson, his sisters Heather (Mark) Keyser and Megan (Troy) Stowe, niece Lauren Keyser, nephews Brayden (Haley) Stowe and Tyson Keyser and his two best friends Kelly (Jamie) Donovan and Gerard Schwan. He was preceded in death by his mother Judith Swenson and niece Mikayla Stowe.

It has been my pleasure to work with Todd over the years. I enjoyed his good sense of humor and willingness to lend a hand. My sympathy to his family and friends who have had to say "good bye" way too soon. By God's grace, may all the good memories of Todd carry you through the valley of grief.

Todd replaced me when I retired 25 years ago. Todd and Gerard took me on my last pheasant hunting trip. He was a pleasant co-worker. I will miss going back to the place I worked for 40 years just to chat with him. RIP Todd.

You´ll never be forgotten my brother. We sure enjoyed many days outside hunting pheasant or pulling in those walleyes.

A funny story about one of our days fishing was on the big lake and we were catching fish like crazy until a storm system came thru. We didn´t want to stop and left at the last minute. We were riding waves under those dark skies. We laughed all the way back to the dock before the rain came down. Mother Nature wanted us gone and we were in no hurry to shut down a fantastic day. I´ve been honored to be your navigator on the water, my friend.
You were my younger brother I didn´t have.
