David English Obituary
KENANSVILLE — David Grey English, 91, passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.
Mr. English was born Feb. 7, 1926, in Bladen County to Edward Franklin English and Kate Thelma Suggs English.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, in Community Funeral Home Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will follow the service. A private family burial was held in Devotional Gardens.
Mr. English is survived by sons, David English, Jr. (Bonnie) of Magnolia, Edward Eugene English (Gloria) of Garner, James Wesley English (Maxine) of Burgaw, and Jonathan Lynn English (Theresa) of Clayton; daughters, Thelma Elizabeth Gainus (Johnny) of Mount Olive and Patricia Dawn Vinson of Faison; and brother, Julian English. He was also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Doris Wayland English; son, Stephen Ellis English; brothers, Bobby English, Edward English and Max English; and grandchildren, Stephen English, Alison English, and Marianne Vinson.
