Janice Williams Obituary

LUMBERTON — Janice Brice Williams, 72, passed away Sept. 11, 2014, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center of Lumberton.

The funeral was conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at Clybonville Baptist Church of Lumberton with the Rev. Stephen Klegg officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

She was born in Sampson County on Oct. 4, 1941.

She is survived by her son, Evan Williams, of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Sharon Rebecca Williams and Pamela Benton and husband, Scott, all of Lumberton; a brother, Jimmy Brice, of Elizabethtown; a sister, Mary Drew McPhail of Tarboro; four grandchildren, Adrian Packer, Tyler Williams, Madelyn and Halli Benton; two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Chloe Collins; and her beloved pet, Mr. Twinkles.

The visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc.

Memorial gifts may be made to Gibson Cancer Center, 1200 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, N.C., 28358.
