GREENSBORO — Lee Dossie Andrews of Greensboro passed away on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, with his family by his side.
A celebration of Lee's life will be held at Carvers Creek AME Zion, 210 Carvers Creek Church Road, Council, on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 3 p.m.
"A living is what a man makes from what he gets, while a life is what he makes from what he gives". No truer statement could have been made regarding Lee Andrews.
Lee was a dedicated attorney and owner of Lee Andrews, Attorney at Law, a full-service law firm serving individuals and businesses throughout North Carolina. Lee was a loving husband, father, son, brother, friend and role model. He gave his life to his family and friends. He helped others and touched many lives. He lived his life to the fullest.
Left to cherish his loving memories is his loving, caring and devoted wife of 27 prosperous years Denise Davis Andrews; four daughters Blaire, Brooke and Destiny of the home and Danielle of Wilmington; sons Tyrone Young (Carolyn) of Mitchellville, MD, Corbett Anderson (Shannon) of Virginia; father, George E. Andrews (Mary) of Riegelwood; brothers George "Billy" Andrews (Frances) of Springfield, MA, Roosevelt Andrews (Carolyn) of Wilmington, Arvin L. Andrews (Gloria) of Riegelwood, Eddie Andrews of Wilmington; sisters Joyce Crosson of Riegelwood and Carolyn Andrews of Greensboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

I am so sadden to know Lee is gone. I called him this summer not knowing it would be the last time we would talk. My condolences to the family. He will be Greatly Missed. God Bless!

Wow this really hurts. I just found out today through the grapevine. Never met a finer man with such a big heart for people. I worked with him on claims and really enjoyed dealing with him by phone and in person. I will miss you Lee. Rest in peace my friend.
