Patsy Gray Todd Cashwell-Vause, 76, of Bladenboro graduated to heaven on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gracie Todd; brothers, Memory Todd and wife Mary Lou, Weldon Todd and wife Magaleen, Roy Lee Todd, Leon Todd and wife Dean, and Charleston Todd and wife Brenda; her sister, Elizabeth Bordeaux and husband Charlie; nieces Connie Todd Atkinson and Rosemary Todd Wynn; and nephew Glenn Todd.
Patsy leaves behind her husband, Clayton Vause; two daughters, LaGray Cashwell and Darlene Cashwell Dwight and husband Leonard; brother, Brady Lee Todd and wife Rosalyn; sister-in-law, Evelyn Todd (Roy Lee Todd); three grandchildren, Daniel Grey Raymes, Joseph Caleb Bryan (Taylor), and Jennifer Dwight Jones (John); two great-granddaughters, Heidi and June Jones; several cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patsy cherished her family and the times spent with them. She loved to sing, play the guitar and tambourine. She also enjoyed going out to eat seafood with her friends and family. She liked to decorate and cook in her crock pot. Patsy told her family that she was ready to go home in her final moments. She is now celebrating with the Lord.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held.
