Amber Newman
Amber Newman, 29, of Flat Rock died unexpectedly Sunday, July 29, 2018 in a motorcycle accident. Amber, a dedicated waitress at IHOP in Arden, loved her customers and her co-workers.
She leaves behind her husband, Tommy Shipman; her two sons, nine-year-old AJ and two-year-old Tommy "Little T"; and her mother, Phyllis Smith.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Treasured Memories Fund in Amber's name to help with funeral expenses.
