Brent Turner Obituary
He was born in Brevard, NC on November 27, 1957 to Annette T. Green and Larry Ray Turner. He graduated from Brevard High School in 1976 and attended Marion Military Institute Junior College to play his favorite sport of football. He is survived by Susan Turner, son Wood Turner, daughter Hailey Turner Robinson, grandson Derek Robinson, sister Lyn Turner Dockens, brother Chad Green and Brent's dog Smoochie.
Brent was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was avid Clemson football fan, a tremendous fisherman, and a world class salesman as long time employee of Houston's Furniture Company of Brevard.
A service will be held at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory on January 10, 2015 at 1:30 PM followed by a celebration of Brent's life at Jamie's Restaurant downtown Brevard from 3:00-5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave. Ste. 1500, Manhattan Beach, CA.

My prayers to Brent's family and friends at this difficult time. I knew Brent since childhood. Brent was always fun to be around. It was fun to be on his team. He could take anything that was thrown at him. He was a great leader, husband and father with few equals in life as well as sports.

I was saddened to hear about the loss of Brent. I went to high school with him. He was the most precious, sweet person. I grew up with him all through our school years and I shall treasure those memories. May God comfort you in your time of need and give you joy at the life of this wonderful man.
