Bruce Douglas Mowery Sr.

HENDERSONVILLE-Bruce Douglas Mowery, Sr., 87 of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully at his home on June 22, 2015. Mr. Mowery was born August 25, 1927 in Cleveland, TN and has lived in Hendersonville since 1961. Mr. Mowery was a World War II Veteran, who proudly served in the US Army. He was also a past Commander of the Hendersonville American Legion Post 77. Mr. Mowery was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Mowery. He is survived by his children, Karen M. Bauer and husband, Robert H. Bauer of Asheville, NC and Bruce Douglas Mowery, Jr. and his wife, Mary S. Mowery of Mills River; grandsons, Shane Douglas Mowery and his wife, Bonnie Jean of Dallas, TX and Steven Douglas Mowery of Denver, Co; and several nieces and nephews.
