Carolyn Galloway Obituary
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Coren Manley. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Manley and two sisters, Pauline Stiles and Martha Gaddy.
Mrs. Galloway was the matriarch of her family, the glue that held them together. She was an encourager to all and everyone's biggest fan. Carolyn treated everyone as family and was known by her family as "the best momma ever".
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Cleveland Roscoe Galloway, three sons, Charles Galloway and wife April of Etowah, Tony Galloway and wife Cindy of Etowah and Chris Galloway of Ashland, OR, two sisters, Barbara Fowler and husband Marvin of Cashiers and Brenda Rider of Brevard, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held 11am, Friday, August 31, 2018 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm, Thursday, August 30, 2018 in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Life Celebrations.
