Ken,
You were a cool lad when you lived here in Detroit on DeSoto Street. I remember you often had your Santa delivered Christmas toys broken by the end of the day. I was heartbroken you and your family moved away, back to the hill country. I saw you just a year or so before you died. I was hoping to see you again when I got to Spartanburg in the spring. I can still remember your Dad yelling "Kenneth Lee" when he was mad at you.

Hi Dad,

I just wanted to let you know that I miss you, and you are still loved! I know we didn't have the best relationship the last few years you were alive, but after doing some growing up, and raising Emma, your grand daughter. It has given me a new perspective on our past. I am sure you are watching down on us, and I want you to know you are truly missed, and I wish we had more time in our mortal forms. Well, I'll catch ya sooner, or later. Love ya Dad!!

Your son,

Jesse
