William Creasman Obituary

William "Bill" E. Creasman, Sr. 82, of Hendersonville, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his home.
Mr. Creasman was born March 23, 1938 in Henderson County and was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1957-1960. He retired from the NC DMV in 2002 and served on the board of directors of Fletcher Fire & Rescue for nine years and seven of them as President.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Creasman, Sr. and Sally Creasman and a brother Charles E. Creasman, Jr.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Marie Creasman, of the home; sons, Bill Creasman and wife, Alma "Sissy" of Fletcher and Jerry Creasman of Fletcher; and granddaughter, Madison.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Naples Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Merck officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church.
Burial will follow in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Rick Garren, Daniel Burcham, Scott Justus, Greg Garland, Eddie Osteen and Jabbo Pressley.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Naples Baptist Church, 799 Rugby Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28791 or to Four Seasons Hospice, 211 N. Main St., Hendersonville NC 28792.
Arrangements are in the care of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services.
