Decker A. Todd: Brandon FL: Decker Todd 63 of Brandon FL died 03/10/2025 at home. Born September 28, 1963 in Lincoln Maine, the son of Donovan E Todd Jr and Joyce (Fern Elaine Thibodeau) Todd. He grew up in Charleston and gained his love of golf while working at his parents golf course "Todd's Valley". Decker attended Foxcroft Academy High School and his golf coach Tom Harvey once remarked in a newspaper article "I think Decker is probably the best golfer to come out of Foxcroft Academy". He only lost two matches in his entire high school career. In 1983 he Graduated from Husson College (now Husson University) with a B.S. in Public Accounting. Decker was on the Husson Men's Golf team from 1979-1983. He was a medalist at the NAIA District 5 Championship in 1980. Decker and his teammates competed in the NAIA Nationals in 1980, '81, and '82. He was a co-caption his sophomore year and captain his last two years. He was nominated as Academic All-American by the Athletic Director. He was inducted into the Husson Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002. Upon completion of college he was employed by Price Waterhouse an Accounting firm in Florida. He later worked as CFO of Professional Payroll Solutions in the Tampa Bay area. He was currently employed as Accountant Manager by HRDelivered a payroll service provider headquartered in Jacksonville FL. As per his wishes his family held a private ceremony at the family grave site in Garland Maine on June 19, 2025. In lieu of flowers a donation in his memory can be sent to Husson University, 1 college Circle, Bangor ME 04401-2929 with a note that the funds are to be directed to the men's golf team.
