Edison Paxton Obituary

Edison "Ed" Paxton passed at the age of 84. Survived by his daughters Lorraine (Dan) Lietz, Amy ( Mark) Doyle and sister Mary Ellen Phillips. He was predeceased by his wife Beth and brother Bill.

Proud Mountaineer, graduate of UWV. Devoted husband and automobile dealer in Western New York. He served as president of the Rochester Automobile Dealers Association. A volunteer of Habitat For Humanity and Lay Leader & Board of Trustee for the Lighthouse United Methodist Church.

Best known for his love of cars and music. Spent years navigating the St. Lawrence Seaway. Ed loved history and was proud of his country. He cherished his friends,ROMEO lunches, and Amelia Island car shows.

A memorial celebration is planned at the Lighthouse United Methodist church, Monday, February 17th at 10:00

I am very devastated by the passing of my friend and colleague.I worked for Ed at the Hoselton Nissan store for 13 years.What I remember most about him is that he was
always praising me for doing a great job.Every morning no matter what was going on he made sure to say good morning to me.That really impressed me and forged a bond between us we became not employee/employer we were FRIENDS.I will miss him more now that he´s gone.Rest in peace Ed.You will be sorely missed

I´m devastated on hearing of Ed passing.i worked for him at the Hoselton Nissan store for 13 years
In the parts department.What I remember most about him is he was always respectful to me.Always came back in the parts department to just say good morning, We were not employer/employee we were friends.I missed him for many years we lost touch.I will miss him even more now. RIP ED GOD BLESS YOU
