Joshua Orlick Obituary
A local chef at The Loose Caboose for many years, as well as at Zekes on Dearborn in Engle- wood, he was passionate about his craft. His dream of owning a food truck was closer than ever. He was always thinking about the food truck and always searching for new recipes and perfect locations.
Whenever possible, Josh could be found with a fishing pole in his hand: He loved fishing the waters around the island. Fishing was more like an addiction, and he was always telling stories of the "big one" that got away. His line was always the last to be reeled in.
"Just one more cast!" he would say, even as a bad storm was rolling in off the harbor.
Josh could start up a conversation with perfect strangers, especially tourists, giving directions or mini-history lessons of Boca Grande and The Depot. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was well liked by many.
He will certainly be missed.
