My precious goddaughter. From the moment I met you as this adorable little redhead, I knew life would be an adventure for you. I always loved your sense of humor and thoughtfulness for others. Nursing was was the perfect career for you. You are one of the greatest joys in my life. I will miss you forever. Until I see you again, sweet Angel!
Love,

Jobeth was my closest friend in St. Louis. She started as my preceptor during my nursing school clinicals (all 192 hours of shifts!!) then she became my inspiration as I was hired on 11500 and then 10400. I learned so much from her professionally and personally. We saw each other’s highs and lows, had casual sleepovers, fun girls nights, fancy night outs, and went to as many Blues and Cardinals games together. I think she was the first person I checked for when it was a night shift, to see if we worked together. And we always ended our shifts with apple cider mimosas at alongside. It was great. I’ll miss her and love her so much. There were so many memories and life changes that I can’t even start to list them off. I hope you’re in a more peaceful, less painful place now JB

JoBeth was my preceptor for my last clinical in nursing school. I learned so much from her and she was one of the most kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable nurses I was lucky enough to learn from. May her memory be a blessing. Thinking of her family, friends, and patients who have all been touched by her love and generosity.
