Bambi Marshall Obituary

Bambi Lynn Marshall, 68

On May 22, 2023, Bambi Lynn Marshall passed away at home unexpectedly at the age of 68. She was born in Southern California. She moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1985 and since then has lived and worked in the Sandpoint area.

Bambi lead a life of love, adventure and achievement in her community having worked for Ivano's Italian Restaurant, Coldwater Creek, Monarch School and the Mountain States Early Head Start Program. She was known for her willingness to help others and was always a treasured part of her work team.

She loved traveling and vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, fishing, boating, hunting, camping, back country on horseback and riding A TV's, snow skiing, snowmobiling, parasailing, playing a mean game of Farkle, and many other adventures. And she was always up for a glass of good wine with friends.

Bambi was a kind, loving and gentle person with an effervescent spirit. Always a smile on her face, always focusing on the positive things in her daily life, willing to go the extra mile no matter the cost. She never had a bad or mean word to say about anyone she knew and was always there to comfort and console whenever anyone needed her. She will be long remembered for the bright light she brought to those who knew her well, as well as her warm smile, her_generous and caring nature and her genuine love and acceptance of others. A true friend indeed and loving wife and mother.

Bambi is survived by her husband, Sam Marshall; son, Beau Marshall; sister, Mary Lou Kinder; stepdaughter, Shannon Marshall; stepson, Kyle Kelly; cousin, Barry Underwood; and countless friends and co-workers.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, with location and details to follow later this month. Bambi was a cancer survivor. In her memory, please consider a donation to your favorite cancer charity in lieu of flowers.

God sent an angel

from heave above

to love and cherish

and to be my sweet love.

A purer heart

was never known

her boundless love

for friends was shown.

We'll miss her now

she's gone to God.

All life's travails

no more to trod.

Her brilliant Beacon

Of Light will shine

To show the way

When it comes our time

Now her work of looking over us

has only just begun

God bless you, Bambi

Your loving husband, Sam.

Bambi was one of the most positive, caring people I've known. She will always be my inspiration to find that spark of light, strength, & kindness. She will be missed greatly by all she has touched. She would want us all to be happy but also would understand why we are all sad. Sending all her family & friends love and hope for comfort
