Brian Pratt Obituary

Brian Dean Pratt, 37

Brian Dean Pratt, beloved son, brother and husband, passed away on August 31, 2024.

Brian attended Sagle Elementary School and graduated from Sandpoint High School. He then attended the University of Idaho and majored in wildland fire management. In high school, Brian worked with the United States Forest Service on the youth trail and fire crew based out of the Sandpoint District Office.

After graduating from U of I, Brian moved to Kentucky to work fulltime with the USFS Wildland Fire Program. Brian transferred from Kentucky to Nevada and then onto Newport, Wash., with the USFS. Brian bought a home and married his wife, Jennifer. Recently, Brian transferred to the Sandpoint District Office and took a job as the fire prevention tech. He loved his job with the USFS.

Brian loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing and hunting. He was always looking ahead to his next adventure. Brian was a kind, loving and giving person.

Brian is survived by his parents, Jack and Polly Pratt; his sister, Jennifer M Pratt; and his wife, Jennifer L. (Foster) Pratt.

He will be forever missed. We will always carry your smile and memory in our hearts.

There will be no service.
