Marjorie VanNatter Obituary

Marjorie Van Natter, 99

Marjorie Van Natter, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went on to Heaven on July 24, 2025. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on January 16, 1926. She first came to Bonner County on a vacation in 1962 , building a vacation home from 1963 to 1970. She returned to Bonner County in 1984 and lived in Sandpoint for 20 years. After her husband, Donald Van Natter's, death in 2004, she moved to Priest River, where she has lived for the last 20 years. She lived her life for her faith and family. She was a teacher and an artist. Up until last year, she was painting, mowing her lawn, shoveling snow, and enjoying working in her garden.



Marjorie was survived by her son Douglas Van Natter and his wife, Martha Van Natter of Birmingham, Alabama; her son David Van Natter of Priest River; her two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, July 30, at 3:00 pm
