Richard Brown Obituary

Richard Brown, 64

Richard Evan "Rick" Brown, 64, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. A celebration of Rick's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Oden Hall, 143 Sunnyside Road, Sandpoint, ID.

Rick was born on May 8, 1961 in Sandpoint, Idaho to Norman "Bob" and Joan Brown. He grew up attended schools in Sandpoint, graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1979.

Rick married Kellie Gandee on July 9, 2000 in Sandpoint. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement in 2024.

Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with Kellie. He is survived by his wife Kellie Brown of Kootenai, ID; mother Joan Brown of Kootenai, ID; daughter Kayla (Greg) Waggoner of Arock, OR; two grandchildren Easton and Saylor: three brothers Mike (Carol) Brown of Sandpoint, Tom (Raquel) Brown of Kootenai, ID, and Jim Brown of Kootenai, ID; and one sister Peggy Brown of Sagle, ID.

He was preceded in death by his father Norman "Bob" Brown.
