Richard Kramer Obituary

RICHARD L. KRAMER Richard L. Kramer, 76, of Blackwater passed away Friday evening May 3, 2024, at Katy Manor Nursing Home in Pilot Grove. Visitation for Richard will be Wednesday May 8, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Howard Funeral Home with funeral services following at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in the Arrow Rock Cemetery. Richard Lee Kramer was born March 17, 1948, in Boonville, MO., the son of George Kramer and Geneva Hull Kramer. He graduated from Boonville High School. He married Nola Harman on July 17, 1977, in Arrow Rock, MO. He attended the University of Missouri where he graduated with a Bachelor of Agriculture Economics degree, later working for the Missouri State Department of Agriculture as a Market Reporter. Richard was a lifelong farmer in the Blackwater area. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, George and Geneva and brother George Henry Kramer. He is survived by his wife Nola of the home, sons, Gentry (Michelle) Kramer of Lees Summitt, MO., and Jason (Erin) Kramer of Blackwater, MO. He is also survived by his sister, Kay Coen of Lake Tapawingo, MO., and grandchildren, Elena, Emmeline and Grayson. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude's Children Hospital.
