Barbara Fite

1938 - 2018

Barbara Fite, 79, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Fairlanes Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Burwash officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the funeral home.
Barbara was born October 24, 1938 in El Reno, Oklahoma to Charles Emmett Jennings and Eula Gregory Jennings. She married Billy Fite on December 25, 1968 in Borger. Barbara was a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed quilting, baking and a talented seamstress. Barbara enjoyed life and was a friend to anyone that met her.
She is preceded by her parents and her husband, Billy.
She is survived by her sons, Billy Fite of Durant, Oklahoma, Chuck Fite and wife Dana of Goodland, Kansas; daughters, Tammy Barnard and husband Ricky of Amarillo, Debbie Engel and husband Michael of Maple Grove, Minnesota, Linda Hopkins and husband Larry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Sherrie Watters of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; twenty three grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; brother, Skip Jennings and wife Diana of Bella Vista, Arkansas; sister, Janice Olomon of Lewisville, Texas.
