James Dennis Obituary

James David Dennis, 63, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Stinnett. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.

James was born September 17, 1958 in Borger to David Daniel "Danny" Dennis and Jerrie Ann Hilton Dennis. He lived his lifetime in Hutchinson County and married Abby Blankenship November 27, 1981 in Borger. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Stinnett and was very involved in Youth sports coaching baseball and football, he was president of the Stinnett Booster Club while his kids were involved in school sports. He was a member of the Hutchinson County Livestock Association and the AMBUCS, he loved watching sports especially the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys, he also watched High School Baseball. He loved fishing, camping, riding 4wheelers, classic rock concerts and NASCAR. He would always help his kids and grandkids with their projects. He also loved working in the yard and in his garden. Most of all, he loved his family,

James is preceded in death by his parents, Danny and Jerrie Dennis; grandson, Kinsler; three sisters, Janet Green, Jo Etta Cheek and Dana Dennis.

Survivors include his wife of forty years Abby of Stinnett; children, Ashley White of Fritch, Justin Dennis of Stinnett; grandchildren; Conner White, Branson White, Cadence Mihm, Makayla White and Hallie White.

Casket bearers will be Dan Green, Brett Fisher, Tyler Cheek, Brent Green, Matt Green, Kevin Paulsell and Anthony McWilliams.
