John Walkinshaw Obituary

John Merwin Walkinshaw, 79, broke the chains of dementia at 12 noon on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

John was born August 11, 1942 in Cedar Vale, Kansas to Robert Murray Walkinshaw and Nellie May Hubbard Walkinshaw. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger. John worked for Redman for over 19 years. He liked to golf whenever and wherever he could, in fact we are sure he and Kay Litterell are meeting up in Heaven for their 5 o'clock tee time. John proudly served in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nellie Walkinshaw.

Survivors include Annette Lively of the home; daughters, Katrina Halcli and husband Joe of Ramstein, Germany, Pam Bartley and husband Terry of Amarillo, Kim Lively of Amarillo; sons, John Walkinshaw of Denver, Colorado, Mitchell Lively and wife Tami of Childress, Freddie Lively of Amarillo; grandchildren, John Matthew Halcli, Elizabeth Halcli, Julia Halcli, Tyler Walkinshaw, Cody Barley and wife Alicia, Michelle Molberg and husband Paul, Alisha Lively and Andrew Miramontes, Jeremy Lively, Jessica Dansby; twelve great grandchildren, with one due to arrive this week; and brother, Roy Walkinshaw and wife Tootie of Tucson, Arizona.
