Margaret Dunham Obituary



Margaret Dunham 95 years old went to be with Jesus on May 25, 2025 in Amarillo Texas. Margaret was born January 24, 1930 to Julian and Gladis Johnson near Putnam, OK. She married Bill Dunham on December 18, 1945. She had a masters degree from WT. She was a Borger High School English teacher for 25 Years and annual staff teacher. She very proud of her Indian heritage. Tribe of the Potawatomi. She was proceeded in death by husband Bill Dunham, son Leland Curtis, and son Steve Dunham.
Survived by her children Mickey Dunham and husband Bill Warnock of Amarillo TX, Billy Dunham and wife Karla of Fritch TX.
Grandchildren. Abby Garrison and husband John of Lubbock, TX. Chip Dunham and wife Melissa of Bushland, TX. and Jason Dunham of Amarillo, TX. Great grandchildren Karlee Wilson of Borger, TX, Rylee Wilkinson of Panhandle, TX, Caleb Dunham of Amarillo, TX, and Sadie Grace Dunham of Bushland, TX.
Great Great grandchildren Hadley and Briar Wilson, Kodyn Dunham and Riggs Wilkinson.
Margaret loved her family and was very caring and giving. She was devoted to the Lord.
Services will be held at New Life Church Borger on June 7th at 2:00 p.m.

I graduated from Borger High in 1968. I had Mrs. Dunham for English. She was a great teacher.
