Susan Abrahamson Obituary
Susan dedicated her career to caring for others, working at North Plains Hospital in nursing and respiratory therapy, as well as serving several local doctors. She also faithfully served as the church organist for Trinity Lutheran Church for 40 years, sharing her love of music and her deep faith with the congregation.
She found great joy in sewing and knitting, creating beautiful, hand - stitched clothing for her loved ones. A talented and accomplished seamstress, she poured her heart into each piece she made. She also cherished collection unique works of art from the many places she and her family visited, each piece holding a memory of their travels. She also had a deep love for animals and always offered a kind hand to every creature she met.
She cherished her family above all and especially enjoyed her grandchildren, creating countless treasured memories with them over the years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Abrahamson; Daughter Lynn Garrison (Husband Clay), son Brent Abrahamson (Wife Kim), daughter-in-law Karen Xie, Granddaughter Mandy Bryan (Husband Jason) Eric Barrett (Wife Misty) Bradley Abrahamson (Wife Becky) Brian Abrahamson, and Wyatt Abrahamson. Five great -grandchildren , Tyler Abrahamson (Wife Valerie), Chelsie Morrison , Michalyn Sloan, Ethan Barrett and Savanah Bevins (Husband Bradley) and Five great-great grandchildren, Jacelynn Bryan , Rylan Morrison, Layleigh Morrison, Luci Abrahamson and Wrenley Bevins.
She was preceded in death by son Kevin and grandsons Brandon and Bayne.
Funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Borger, Friday August 15, 2025 at 11:00 am.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
