ALBERT RAND Obituary

RAND, Albert Albert Rand, age 94 of Concord, MA, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2021. He was born January 1, 1927 in New York City. He was predeceased by his wife of 69 years Lois M. Rand. He is the father of Joyce (Crommett), David, Richard and Steve. Grandfather of Jennifer, Jason, Tyler, Corey, Noah and Rachel. He was the youngest of five children and is survived by his sister Sedell. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he is a graduate of MIT where he received both a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He then began a successful career which culminated in his serving as the President and CEO of Dynamics Research Corporation. He loved spending time relaxing at his home in Falmouth, going to the beach, and being with his family. He was an avid sailor and loved spending time on the water. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park. A reception will be held at Albert's home in Concord after the burial. www.stanetskycanton.com
