"Ode To Daddy"
We do not ask why you were taken so young. Nor do we ask why did my Daddy go away. We thank you Daddy for giving us life. For all of the nights you rocked us and held us close. For when you dried our tears and made our boo boos go away. We love and thank you Daddy for sitting on the floor with us to do a puzzle or play with blocks, or the times you would just smile or make us laugh. Our only regret Daddy is that we had you for only a brief moment in time. We wish you could be there to watch us dance, to help us get on the school bus for the first time, to watch us grow and to mend our broken hearts. Daddy, mom says you are our angel now and will guide and protect us through the years. But to us Daddy, you have always been our protector and we in turn are your two angels.
Love Forever,
Jessica and Hannah

My thoughts and prayers go out to Albie's family. I was deeply saddened to hear of his death. As a child and as an adult, Albie always had a smile on his face. He will always be remembered that way. I hope that the warm memories Fran & Al, Darlene, Mark, Joe, Lisa and Bobby have of him will help them through this difficult time. It saddens me to think of his two daughters growing up without him.

Darlene,
My thoughts and prayers are with you Hannah & Jessica in this time o terrible loss of Albie. The news just broke my heart because Albie was such a great guy. I was so glad to be able to visit with you awhile ago at Jessica's baptism and Albie & yourself were the greatest hosts as usual. I am sorry I can't give you a hug in person but please know that you and your family are in my thoughts. You and your family have always been of great support and love to mine so in times like these I am really sorry that I could not offer my condolences in person. My God bless you and your children and may He bring you peace in this time of loss of your husband, father and friend.

My prayers and thoughts go out to Albie's family at this most difficult time. I was a classmate of Albie's and was shocked and saddened to learn about his passing. God Bless.

To All the Family of Albie,
My prayers and thoughts are with you. Though I'm far away and time has passed since being with Albie, his memory is still very fresh in my heart from the many fun times we had when we where young and growing up in Bridgewater and Abington. I send my love to our family and my prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Albie:
I do not hear your footsteps
as you approach me sitting in silence
my eyes glazed, staring out the window
at the early morning newness
I do not hear your footsteps
as a tear runs down my face
overwhelmed with oceans of emotion
as I whisper a prayer to you
I do not hear your footsteps
as I lift my words to you
hoping with my heart and soul
that you will hear my desperate words
I do not hear your footsteps
as I feel a comfort sweep through me
like a warm breeze in the spring
or a blanket wrapped around me in winter
I do not hear your footsteps
as I begin to feel a strength
from deep within it grows
and I know I am not alone
I do not hear your footsteps
but I feel your presence there
now knowing I'm not alone
I can feel your loving rush through me
I do not hear your footsteps
as I end my silent prayer
but, as I stand to face whatever the day will bring
I know that your footsteps will never walk the other way
Love,
Mark
