I heard only yesterday of the death of Dr Wright. I felt in my heart as my grandfather had died. Dr. Wright accepted me as his patient (from Ireland)14 years ago and performed a major spinal surgery that gave me a quality of life i was told i would never have. It was not simply surgery but a miracle. He was a beautiful man and i will never forget him and his intervention in my life. God rest you Dr Wright. My prayers and deepest sympathy to his dear family. Your husband and dad truely touched the lives of all his patients

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Wright. I was one of his scoliosis patients and he helped me tremendously. I had not seen him since 1994, needless to say I was very sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Dr. Wright (a.k.a 'Bink'). In the late 60's I had the privilege of working with him in the Operating Room at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Montreal. Also during that time I was the recipient of his expertise. He helped so many people with his expertise and will be remembered as a kind and caring person and a remarkable surgeon.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Alexander Wright. This marks the passing of a truly great man, who was also a friend and counselor to so many of us who were fortunate to have had him as a surgeon. His expertise gave us back our lives and allowed us to resume a full and active lifestyle. Over the past 30 years and seven surgeries, I know that his dedication to us meant time away from his family. My sincerest thanks to his family for sharing him with us. I only wish I had one more opportunity to tell him how much his brilliance, skill and humanity changed our lives forever.
