To Lois, his sister and my friend: I'm so sorry to see this obit, Lois, and my heart goes out to you and your family with all the suffering you have endured in these recent years. I'm also sad that it seems we're all so busy and each of us has so much on our plates that the only time we can be brought up short to contact each other is when such sorrowful events shock us into remembering how time & health are slipping away from us all. Knowing that Lee is at peace at last, I still acknowledge the pain that his absence is causing you all, and my heart and prayers go out to you; and to affirm that no matter the distance or time apart, we are friends forever -- friends of the heart. God Bless you and your family. Love, Emily
