Jane M. Wesley

Fishkill - Jane Martin Wesley of Newtown, CT, formerly of Fishkill, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2013 at Danbury Health Care. She was 87. Born on March 14, 1925 in Flushing NY to the late Henry William and Maud Smith Martin.

Jane was a 1946 graduate of Flushing Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years prior to retiring in 1980 from Butterfield Hospital in Cold Spring.

On July 12, 1947 she married Charles S. Wesley in Fishkill.

Jane is survived by her devoted husband, Charles S. Wesley of Newtown; loving children, Pattie Wesley of Woodbury, CT, P. Jeanne Abrams and her husband, Martin, of Plano TX and Charles M. Wesley and his wife, Judith, of Loudonville, NY. Cherished grandchildren, Charles and Anthony Wesley and Mark and John Abrams; a dear brother, John Martin of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, William Martin.

A Private Funeral Service will be held in the spring at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
