Yes and I will add to Susie's comments about Al, The Big O as we called him. He was one of my best friends in High School and part of the Gold Dust Twins, who consisted of Jim Skillen, Al and myself, coined by our humorous football coach, Joe Sable. Al was a great team man and fierce competitor but more importantly was a good and decent man. I never new Al to do anything unkind to anyone. We lost touch over the years but my great memories of him and our friendship I carry with me all the time. My condolences to his family and particularly Richard (Dobie as I knew him too.) God Bless Al. Dale Lehmer

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Al. I haven't seen him since high school but we were friends his senior year as he was one of Dale's very best friends. I remember Al as a great guy, very responsible. I remember a great sense of humor and decency. I was in his brother Richard's (better known to me as Dobie) class and was good friends with him. My deepest condolences go out to his wife, children and to brother Dobie. May he rest in peace and his loved ones find peace and comfort in God's hands.
