Pat and Alvena, love forever true

We offer our deepest sympathy on the passing of Mrs. Arrigo, a truly great lady. She was our beloved neighbor and friend from our Walnut Knoll days, a friendship that has continued throughout our lives. We shall always remember how beautiful and kind she was, how caring and concerned about us, and how elegant too. We'll also fondly recall how she loved to party, putting green food coloring into everything, even the beer, on St. Patty's Day and holding one of the first ever Meet the Beatles parties, playing their first album all night long. Proud of her Irish heritage, she became Mrs. O'Reego on St. Patty's Day. Mrs. Arrigo was fun and spirited. Unlike our mother, she could drive, and would often pile us kids into her station wagon with her own children. We would race to try to get the back seat, thereby allowing us to ride backwards! What adventures and fun we had! Mrs. Arrigo never looked like her age or like she was the mother of five children. We are grateful for her presence in our lives and we'll never forget her. May she rest in peace.
