Alvin Bittrich Obituary

BITTRICH, Alvin P. Age 78, of Harwich formerly of Reading, Nov 18. Devoted husband of Joan (Keegan) Bittrich. Loving father of Karen and her husband Thomas Macari of Reading, Michael and his wife Christine of Brewster, Paul and his wife Kathleen of Duxbury. Also survived by seven grandchildren; T.J., Jill, Tyler, Dylan, Lauren, Caroline and William. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday Nov 22 at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Rt 134 South Dennis from 3-5pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday Nov. 23 at Our Lady of the Cape Church, Brewster at 11am. Late Korean Vet. USMC. In lieu of flowers donations in Al's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Services of Cape Cod and the Islands 712 Main St, Hyannis, MA 02601. Doane Beal & Ames S. Dennis 508-385-7116

Fondest hello and condolences to Auntie Joan, Karen, Michael and Paul. Mary and I were very sorry that we were unable to attend. Just sat with Cathy and my Mom going thru old pictures and remembering the good old days.... I was very proud and honored to have Al as my uncle. He was truly a wonderful man in every sense. Our best wish's to you all.

SOOOOO sorry for your terrilble loss.I will always remember Uncle Al and feel blessed to have known him.Time goes by so quick and lives are so busy.Its hard to find time to get together, but always know that I will always have fond memmories of you Aunt Joan and my Bittrich cousins.Im glad my dad had a big brother and this Thanksgiving Im going to be extra Thankfull for my big brothers and my large family.I will have all of you in my thoughts and prayers.Love Helen Bittrich Haugh

Oh Uncle Al, we will all miss you terribly!
