GOODE, Andrea Marie It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andrea Goode, born in Waltham, Massachusetts, on October 1, 1956, to Andrew and Pauline Goode. She passed away peacefully, at home, on June 29. Andrea brought light, laughter, and unwavering dedication to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Andrea's interest in finance, and her passion for non-profits, led her to Boston College, where she earned her undergraduate degree and later, to Framingham State College, where she received a MBA. With a sharp financial mind and a generous desire to help others, she served as the chief financial officer for multiple nonprofit organizations throughout the Boston area and Cape Cod, leaving a lasting impact through her leadership, integrity, and service. Beyond her professional achievements, Andrea was a woman of many interests. An avid golfer, she cherished days on the links, always enjoying friendly competition in the company of friends and family. She also loved her beach days, where she could be closest to sun and ocean. Her joy for music and dancing radiated in every moment she spent on the dance floor. A dedicated traveler, Andrea was especially enchanted by Italy's rich culture and she held Anguilla, her annual island getaway, close to her heart. For over three decades, Andrea shared her life with her wife, Hildy Paris. Their 31-year marriage was a testament to love, partnership, and commitment. Andrea will also be deeply missed by her family: brothers, Jeffery Goode and his wife, Sue, Peter Goode and his partner, Kathy Duffley; and her eight nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and nephews, and one on the way, all of whom she adored and proudly supported. Andrea's humor, generosity, and joie de vivre touched countless lives. She celebrated family and friends gatherings with joy, traveled with enthusiasm, and gave back through her work with a grace that inspired everyone around her. Arrangements under the direction of Chapman Funerals and Cremations, MARSTONS MILLS, MA. A private Celebration of Life, to honor Andrea, will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a memorial donation be made to the Alzheimer's Family Support Center, a nonprofit supporting families affected by dementia, at alzfamilysupport.org May we all carry her spirit in our hearts.
