Dear Family and Friends of Andy,
On his anniversary, I just want to say a big 'Thank You!' to him and Margie for changing the direction of my life. You took me from Belfast at the height of The Troubles and gave me the best advice and memories I could wish for. You made me the man I am - a successful teacher and award winning children's author. True role models, true heroes who changed lives not just on the Cape, not just in Massachusetts but all the way across the pond to a different continent. I owe you it all, James Patrick Doyle: [email protected]

I just found out that Andy has passed since my Christmas card to him was returned. I met Andy and Margie when I was in college while working at the Mashpee Town Hall. He was a special person and will always be my "Gramps". I am a better person because of him.

To the Family and Friends of Andy Carmichael. I wish to extend my deepest sympathy at the loss of Andy. I met him and his dear wife Marge at Lahey Clinic where I was an RN 25 years ago. It was then I knew they were very special. Thru the years we kept in touch mostly thru Christmas cards. I never forgot them and the kindness they showed me at that time. God bless both Andy and Marge. They are together again.

Mr. Carmichael,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and the Korean War and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
