LEACH, Andrew Patrick Age 41, of Milton, formerly of Scituate, passed away suddenly on June 2, 2017 while exercising at his gym. He was the beloved husband of Amanda (Kelsay) Leach, with whom he exchanged vows on August 30, 2015. Born and raised in Scituate, Andrew was the loving son of Richard and Jacqueline (Hart) Leach. Cherished brother of Matthew Leach and his wife Maryellen (Gill) Leach of Brockton and loving uncle of Henry Richard Leach. In 2013, he completed his MBA at the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. Andrew was employed by S & P Global in Boston as a Regional Investment Consultant and was one day away from taking his third and final exam to become a Chartered Financial Analyst. Andrew had a zest for life and loved the water, boats and fishing. A lifelong athlete, he had a passion for sports and fitness and excelled in football, wrestling, track, pole vaulting and golf. He was loved by everyone that had ever met him and will be greatly missed. A visitation will take place Thursday June 8 from 4-8 p.m. at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, SCITUATE, MA. We want to extend our deepest sympathy at hearing about the loss of your son Andrew. Although we never had the pleasure of knowing him in person we felt we did because at all of our luncheons we always discussed our children and Andrew was mentioned often. Knowing that the Lords arms are now surrounding him does not take away the hurt but let's us remember that our loved ones that leave us are never alone or ever forgotten. Our love to all of you and his wife and her family. There can be no greater loss to a parent than a child. Hope to see you soon. Jay and Eileen

I had the fortunate experience to go fishing with "Leacho" in Boston Harbor several times. He had the clear understanding that it was not about the fish you caught. It was about the memories you captured.
We can all say thanks for the memories Leacho blessed us all with.

Condolences to family and friends.

I am so sad to hear of "Leach's" passing. We went to Gettysburg together but didn't really become friends until we studied abroad in Australia at Flinders University. He was such a good friend and almost like a "big brother" over seas. I remember being in the same class with him and we had an assignment that had to be 1,500 words long. He kept using the word count and when he got to 1,500 words, he printed his essay and declared he was finished. I couldn't believe it....no ending, no wrapping it up, just 1,500 words and done. And he did fine in the class! He was so kind and caring. Prayers to his family and close friends. I am so sorry for your loss.

I will always cherish my fond memories with Andy through our years together in elementary school , junior high, and high school. He was one of my first best buds. Whether we had a Pop Warner football game, or going to the mall, or sneaking out of his house on Mary's Lane.......we were thick as thieves. Unfortunately time flies.....and life happens. We only spoke a couple of times in the past 10 years. I regret that. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I heard the news that he was gone. Way too soon. Andrew will be missed by many. My condolences to the Leach's and his extended family. I am gonna miss you bud. Rest easy.
