Our whole family sends their deepest sympathies. Andy did two complex construction projects at our home. Both were great successes. More importantly, Andy was just a joy to work with in every respect. He was a beautiful person. On the few times I saw him socially, I now wish that I had uncovered his desire to learn to surf. As someone who surfs all over the world, nothing would have been more fun than teaching and sharing that sport with Andy.

We (Cowen Associates) enjoyed working with Andy on numerous projects starting in 2003, providing Structural Engineering. Andy was probably the most enjoyable guy we have worked with over the years. Always a smile!
