1937 - 2021

SCHLEHUBER, Andrew F. Jr., "Papa" Of Mission Hill, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his loving family on August 25, 2021. Born in Boston February 7, 1937, the son of the late Dorothy (Otto) and Andrew F. Schlehuber, Sr. He was a proud resident of Mission Hill and later entered the U.S. Army proudly serving his country in the Korean War. Beloved husband of 64 years to Winifred (McManus) Schlehuber. Loving father of Andrew T. and his wife Denise of Mission Hill, Kevin Schlehuber and his wife Deborah of Bridgewater, Karen McCauley and Paul of Medway, Kris Harris of Walpole, Thomas J. Schlehuber and his wife Cindy of Weymouth, Steven and his wife Betsy of Norton, and the late Richie Schlehuber. Devoted grandfather of 26, and great-grandfather of 9, all of whom brought him incredible happiness. Dear brother of Stephen Schlehuber and his wife Patricia of Hyannis. He was the brother of the late Carol, George, and Chubba. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Maureen Schlehuber; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Boston's Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help "Mission Church," on Tuesday, August 31st, at 10am. Interment Private.
